What Does MLB Look Like in 2020?

There have certainly been a lot of firsts in 2020, one of those being no start to an MLB season. However, as outlook continues to brighten, MLB and its constituents move closer to an agreement.

Some of those include:

  • Beginning in early July teams will play conference rivals and teams in the same region, totally about 80 Games

  • As opposed to original thoughts of playing at Spring Training stadiums, Teams will likely play at their home stadiums as much as possible.

  • Each league will have seven teams representing them in an expanded post season.

  • There will be a DH in both leagues, apparently helping with fatigue of pitchers. However, this is a move they have been wanting to make.

Being optimistic as I am, with the season opening around July 4th, America's favorite pastime will BOOM!
